Regularly, the G2A key selling website is exposed to the light of unsavory activities, resulting from credit card theft and other fraudulent actions that can lead to bad surprises on the players' side. Today, we tell you about another G2A frenzy, but also Gearbox, which was born from a rather curious association between the developer and the reseller on behalf of the release of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, Remastered version of the title that will emerge in some time. Hang on, the story is not simple.

Against all odds, Gearbox had decided to partner with G2A to promote the collector's edition of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, only available on the key website. Given the reputation of G2A, some Internet influencers have reasserted this decision, by loudly proclaiming a boycott of all Gearbox games. Faced with this growl that was growing step by step, Gearbox had then decided to implore from G2A that it communicates around the G2A Shield, system of protection/insurance of the purchases of keys that the site never finally made.

After a few hours of uncertainty, Gearbox therefore decided to remove the collector version of Bulletstorm : G2A Full Clip Edition by stating :

Since there was no public announcement of G2A at the time Bulletstorm : Full Clip Edition was released on PC, Gearbox Publishing will take steps not to directly support a marketplace that has not accepted The commitment to protect customers and developers required by Gearbox Publishing.

A very curious case, with a Gearbox ready to promote its game giving the exclusivity of a G2A that criticizes a few hours later to get away from the threats of boycotting players...
