Sunny days coming soon, Niantic hopes that his Pokémon GO will be as big as when it was released during summer 2016, when all the players went out in the streets to hunt those little cute creatures from the Pokémon Compagny. Let's admit, the mission is complicated as the number of Pokémon GO players on iOS and Android has dropped during those recent months, but the stock of active players is still huge, with more than 65 million active hunters on both OS mobile. How does Niantic intend to re-entice players to hunt more than ever during this spring /summer 2017 with Pokémon GO ?

Recently awarded by various organizations including the BAFTA, which gives Pokémon GO the title of best mobile game of 2016, Niantic promises new features for the application by teasing the future which will be apparently under the sign of cooperation. On its official website, the developer declares in fact :

The passion of  more than 65 million players in the world who still play every month at Pokémon GO always inspires us so much. We are still only at the beginning of this adventure and many novelties are coming. With spring coming in the northern hemisphere, players can expect to be able to enjoy a cooperative social experience in Pokémon GO that will give them a good reason to go back hunting under the sunlight.

If Niantic does not give a release date for this next cooperative update, you will have to expect to be able to hunt Pokémon and to be able to exchange objects and creatures by going on several walks in Pokémon GO. An update that will be enough to relaunch the global craze in the streets in a few months? That's all the good we want for Niantic !
