The power of the Xbox Scorpio should not have any influence on the size of the Microsoft console
Yesterday, our video games news section proudly unveiled the technical specs of the Xbox Scorpio, which confirms its status as the most powerful console of the moment. With some components not really top of the range compared to what can be found in the latest PC gamers, Microsoft nevertheless propels its Scorpio well before the PS4 Pro, with a similar architecture, however, relying on a technology of the same generation, except for its more fast GPU. But the "reveal" of the inside of the Xbox Scorpio by Eurogamer especially allows to anticipate the size of the console, which should therefore not be much bigger than the Xbox One S. How do we know that ?
As with previous revelations, having shown the motherboard of the Xbox Scorpio makes it possible to calculate approximately its size, thanks to the USB ports. On Reddit, a user concludes that the Xbox Scorpio should measure 10 by 8inches, a size similar to what can be found in an Xbox One S. However, we must be careful about the design of the console, since for example, the size of the motherboard of the PS4 Pro is not hugely larger than the classic PS4, and yet, Sony had to review the architecture due to the larger cooling system for better air condition to overclocked components.
