Xbox One - Microsoft's biggest blunder went unnoticed !
Sony stood out recently because the PS4 slim was seen on the web before it was even announced by Sony. On the blunder subject, Microsoft has its own story that we will reveal today. The website MCVUK tells the crazy and untold story of Jia Li who received a pretty nice present from Microsoft.
In March 2013, Jia li from Miami, orders a laptop from the Microsoft website. Upon unpacking it, she finds some very odd details: the box is encircled with red tape. Still, she decided to go ahead and open the box. Once she’s opened the box, Jia Li finds out that the product she’s received does not look like the one she had seen on the web. After getting in touch with the customer service, someone swings by her place to pick up the package and proceed to an exchange.
What Jia Li doesn’t know is that the product she just exchanged was an Xbox one protoype. Yes: an Xbox one had gotten out of the Microsoft warehouse, two months before its announcement and eight months before its official release, to end up in the hands of someone who does not know much about videogames. The story went unnoticed and Microsoft sent the right product to Jia Li as well as an Xbox 360. To summarize, Microsoft had an exceptionally lucky escape. This amusing story proves that everyone can make mistakes, and above all that Jia Li could have been the luckiest customer in the world had she known anything about videogames!
