The last guardian just went gold
If in 2009, someone had told us that the Last Guardian would only be out in 2016 we would have laughed crazily since the Team Ico had not really held us accustomed to postponing anything. And yet, after ten years of development, The Last Guardian will definitely be out on December 7th 2016, on PS4. Can we be sure that this release date is set in stone ? Yes , because Sony announced on Twitter that The Last Guardian just went gold. Here is what Shuhei Yoshida shared on Twitter:

However, and we have been noticing that lately, going gold does not mean that a game is bug-free and that its development is over. Keep in mind that the Last guardian will have, not unlike his friends, a patch day one which will stich things up. Still, the main thing is there: The wait is over for any fan of the game by Fumito Ueda. The last guardian will be released after yet another long untold story, Final Fantasy XV. The year 2016 is definitely a miraculous one.
