PlayStation Tournaments- Sony announces a new online mode on PS4
Through a post published on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced a new online mode called "Tournaments" in partnership with ESL. Players will be able to play online tournaments on multiplayer games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, FIFA etc. The first game that's been confirmed and that will be put to the task is the excellent NBA 2K17. Interested players may sign up today if they wish to do so. A regular copy of NBA 2K17, as well as a PS + and ESL memberships are mandatory to take advantage on this new PS4 feature. For now, tournaments will solely include one on one matches but the post does mention that features will be added in the future.
However is not mentionned whether this functionality will be exclusive to North-America or if the other continents will be able to enjoy the same features.
